Former Ole Miss Rebels offensive lineman Michael Oher filed a petition against the Tuohy family Monday claiming that the family "tricked" him into signing a document that made them his conservators, which would give them the ability to profit off his name.

Oher's petition accuses the Tuohys of taking advantage of him after they received $300 million dollars for 'The Blind Side' movie, while the former Rebel earned nothing.

New information, however, was revealed on Wednesday regarding how the two parties were supposedly compensated for the Oscar-winning film by the Touhy family's attorneys.

The family lawyers state that both Oher and the Tuohys were paid $100,000 from the movie's profits, per Jason Munz of Memphis Commercial Appeal.

That is a significant drop off from the $300 million Oher's petition claims the family made.

Family attorney Steven Farese Sr. also claimed that the Touhys had no control over Oher's compensation.

“The Tuohys did not control any of Mr. Oher’s finances,” said Farese told local reporters. “Mr. Oher picked his own agent. Mr. Oher signed his own contract, negotiated it through his agents."

This revelation comes after the Touhy's attorneys revealed on Tuesday that Oher came to the family prior to his court filing and threatened them with a "negative story in the press" if they did not give him an eight-figure check.

As the drama continues to build around Oher and the Touhys, it appears that one of the former's key claims has been proven fictitious.
