Former Tennessee Vols great Jalin Hyatt is coming back to Rocky Top.  Well, for at least a weekend, that is.

The Tennessee standout and current New York Giants wide receiver will be hosting a football camp in Maryville, Tennessee on June 22, 2024 at Maryville High School along with his former teammate Jaylen Wright.

There should be plenty of interest for the camp, given that Hyatt is one of the most popular Tennessee players of the twenty first century and the camp is taking place right down the road from Knoxville.

The talented wideout had one of the greatest individual seasons in Tennessee history in 2022.  He caught 67 passes for 1267 yards with 15 touchdowns, earning the Biletnikoff Trophy as the nation's top wide receiver.  His 6 catches for 207 yards and 5 touchdowns in Tennessee's 52-49 win over Alabama was perhaps the most impressive and memorable single-game performance by any player in program history.

Wright should also spike interest in the camp.  He became the first Tennessee running back since 2015 to top the 1000-yard rushing mark with 1013 yards on the ground last season.  He is also expected to be one of the first running backs selected in the NFL Draft later this month.

Hyatt has a place in Tennessee fans' hearts without question.  It's nice to see that the Volunteer State still has a part of his as well.
