Here's where Bo Nix ranks in the latest Heisman Trophy odds

In a busy Week 4 of college football, the Oregon Ducks made a lot of noise. The loudest was no doubt starting QB Bo Nix, who led the home team to a convincing 42-6 win against Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes.

The senior is making a huge impression in his final college football campaign — three TDs against the Buffs didn't hurt — which includes whispers about his chances of winning the Heisman Trophy before departing for the NFL Draft.

Is Nix the favorite to win college football's biggest award after Week 4?

Yes, Nix's Heisman odds improved to 10-1 at DraftKings after his mammoth performance at Autzen Stadium on Saturday. But he still isn't the favorite to win the award in December.

That honor remains with USC starting Caleb Williams, who is currently listed at 4-1 at DK. The junior already won the hardware last year as a sophomore after he recorded 4,537 yards and 42 TD passes — along with another 10 rushing TDs — and only eight interceptions.

His performance in Week 4 helped further his odds of winning the award in back-to-back seasons as he put up 322 yards and three TDs in a 42-28 win against Arizona State. It's no wonder he is also the projected No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Williams is sharing those short odds, as Washington Huskies QB Michael Penix Jr. is also a 4-1 favorite after Week 4. Penix is coming off of a big week against Cal Berkley where he posted 304 yards and four TDs and an interception.

Pro Football Network believes that Penix's draft stock is still a bit unknown since the Huskies haven't faced any major challenges so far this season, but it's easy to see why his Heisman odds are still very good.

Other notable Heisman favorites include Texas Longhorns QB Quinn Ewers (10-1) and Florida State QB Jordan Travis (12-1).
