Ohio State is getting busy in the transfer portal game now that their season has come to an end.

On Thursday, the Buckeyes landed a commitment from quarterback Will Howard . Ohio State is also expecting to receive a visit from former Alabama offensive lineman Seth McLaughlin.

McLaughlin played in 36 games for Alabama from 2021-23 and made 25 starts. He drew criticism for his inconsistent snaps to Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe this season.

Throughout the SEC Championship Game and College Football Playoff, McLaughlin’s snaps were all over the place. One snap from McLaughlin caused Alabama’s offense to lose yardage in the third quarter of their defeat to Michigan. Then on the final play of the game in overtime, McLaughlin snapped the ball low to Milroe, who got stuffed on a run.

McLaughlin started all 14 games for Alabama this season after starting eight games in 2022 and three in 2021.
