Will Kayvon Thibodeaux get drafted by the Giants? [Chris Pietsch/The Register-Guard] via Imagn Content Services, LLC

Radio host Colin Cowherd claimed to have some inside information on one top NFL Draft prospect’s potential destination.

Cowherd recently spoke with Action Network CCO Chad Millman, and was asked about the most interesting NFL rumor he had heard around Super Bowl parties. Without hesitation, Cowherd suggested he’d heard that Oregon defensive lineman Kayvon Thibodeaux had been given reason to believe he was destined for the New York Giants.

“Kayvon Thibodeaux, the defensive end from Oregon,” Cowherd said, via Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News. “He thinks he’s going to the New York Giants.”

The Giants pick at No. 5 and No. 7, and it’s not clear whether Thibodeaux will make it that far down the board. He might, but there may also be the chance that the Giants could package those two picks to move up.

On the other hand, there has been growing speculation that teams might not be as enamored with Thibodeaux as previously thought. If the Giants really do want him, that perception could be good news for them.
