During last week’s episode of the Pablo Torre Finds Out podcast, the former ESPN reporter dropped bombshell after bombshell about Jordon Hudson — the infamous girlfriend of new North Carolina head coach Bill Belichick. But perhaps the most revealing was an anecdote involving a yellow polka-dot bikini.
The way Torre tells it, the 24-year-old Hudson attempted to secure herself a speaking role in Belichick’s 2024 “Underdog Fantasy” commercial in which she’s wearing a yellow polka-dot bikini and interacts with Belichick by the pool as he’s fielding calls for fantasy football advice. Making it even more awkward, according to Torre, Hudson reportedly brought the bikini from home and actually wore it on the set to effectively force producers to entertain her idea. There may even be unaired video of this alleged scene that never made the actual commercial.
“I am actively working on acquiring confirmation around whether I can get that video that may or may not exist,” Torre said on Wednesday’s episode of Pardon My Take from Barstool Sports. “That’s a lot of clauses to sort of protect what I don’t know, just know that this is one of … look, I have Holy Grails when it comes to videos, one of them was published on this show last year, it was the Knicks’ recruiting video for LeBron (James) that had the last scene James Gandolfini ever did as Tony Soprano in it and also Jim Dolan’s list of super friends all recruiting LeBron in a secret video. We got that video. This one, I am actively working on still.
“I can tell you though, that when it came to how that scene unfolded … just imagine, Bill Belichick shows up, he’s – by the way, a lot of New England fans on that set, so these are people that look up to Bill Belichick – and they have to figure out is Bill OK with what’s happening,” Torre continued. “And Bill Belichick, I’m told, had no change in his face as his girlfriend showed up and unilaterally deciding ‘I’m wearing a yellow polka-dot bikini now and it’s time for us to shoot a scene.’ And it’s like, ‘OK, we’ve got to make this happen somehow.’ And I’m tracking down the people who may actually have the answer to my question.”
Pablo Torre adds new details, doubles down on UNC, Jordon Hudson ban
Whether or not there is actual video of that trainwreck of a shoot, Torre has been at the forefront of multiple stories involving Hudson’s intrusive involvement in Belichick’s public life. That included his February report that Hudson was acting as Belichick’s “de facto agent” and allegedly forced her way onto the set of Dunkin’ Donuts’ Super Bowl LIX commercial that also starred Belichick and famous actors Ben and Casey Affleck.
Last week, Torre reported Hudson had been barred from the North Carolina football complex following a meeting with UNC “higher-ups,” but the Tar Heels athletic department quickly shut down any notion of an offical ban.
“UNC can now choose to describe or change its position on Jordon Hudson’s involvement however it wishes, following the publication of our episode,” Torre posted around noon ET on X/Twitter. “We requested comment and filed dozens of FOIA requests that were not satisfied. And we stand by the specific reporting in our episode, which came from the highest levels of the football program.
“We broke the news of an important meeting where UNC higher-ups told the football program that Jordon Hudson can’t be around the facility anymore,” Torre added in a subsequent post. “Many people around the team heard that message very clearly. You can decide who to trust, in terms of how the PR spin goes from here.”
