UC football had its running back room shredded on Saturday down to the fifth string, but guys like Corey Kiner, Ryan Montgomery, and Myles Montgomery are all expected to return this week.

Head coach Scott Satterfield confirmed that the top two rushers will return to practice and should play against UCF. The program is hopeful they can get Ryan Montgomery back from injury as they've shut down Ethan Wright for the season with a back ailment.

As for the most important position on the team, Satterfield left the door open for Brady Lichtenberg to earn more playing time against UCF.

"Did some really good things for us," Satterfield said about Lichtenberg. "He certainly made the case to play some. We'll continue to battle this week in practice and see where we're at with that, but certainly could foresee him getting some time in the game. Again, we're trying to do everything we can to win, so if he can get out there and if he'll give us the best chance to win, then we'll certainly go that route. We'll see how this this week of practice goes."

Lichtenberg went 5-of-9 passing on Saturday for 48 yards passing and one score on top of three carries for 27 yards.

The time to make a move is now—we'll see if the coaching staff goes down the depth chart when Saturday's game rolls around.
