Travis Hunter was hunted by Colorado State’s Henry Blackburn on Saturday night.
The Rams were leading Hunter’s Buffaloes 14-7 in the first quarter and Colorado had a 2nd-and-10 at their 44. Shedeur Sanders took a snap from the shotgun and threw deep down the left sideline for Hunter. Just a split-second after the pass fell incomplete, Hunter was nailed in the midsection by Blackburn.

Blackburn, a senior defensive back, was penalized 15 yards for unnecessary roughness.
The hit from Blackburn on Hunter made clear just how tense the rivalry is between the schools.
Colorado State coach Jay Norvell took a shot at Colorado coach Deion Sanders in the week leading up to the game. Norvell’s words gave the Buffs some bulletin board material.
