Rutgers held its Pro Day on Tuesday as 14 Scarlet Knights participated in various drills. They were able to showcase their abilities ahead of next month’s NFL Draft. The standout performer at Pro Day was All-Big Ten safety Christian Izien. For a full look at his workout including video footage of Izien in action as well as his presser, click here.

Head coach Greg Schiano was at Pro Day and spoke to the media about the event as well as several players like Adam Korsak, Izien, and Super Bowl champion Isiah Pacheco.

“There are 30 of the 32 NFL teams here today,” head coach Greg Schiano said. “It’s really good and our guys look great, just praying for them that they will have a great day and will be able to put up some good numbers.”

“I always want to make sure that there’s not so much pressure on them that it steals the joy of the day,” Schiano said. “They have put a lot of work into this. I know it is a job interview, I get all that. Just want them to relax. What they do from the end of the season until now, there is an incredible commitment. Yes, they committed all the years to their college experience but they kind of go into spartan living for three or four months to really get ready for a job interview like today.”
