Before Lavel Davis Jr.'s tragic passing, he was well on his way to living up to the talent that Virginia fans had caught glimpses of in his freshman season. While he only caught 16 passes for 371 yards and two touchdowns in eight games played in 2022, he had an incredible 23.2 yards per catch average.
