The Syracuse Orange lost a tough game, 38-21, to the Liberty Flames who improve to 5-0 on the season. Rex Culpepper started at quarterback for the Orange and threw for 211 yards and 3 touchdowns. Running back Sean Tucker led the Orange with 111 yards rushing, and wide receiver Taj Harris hauled in 9 passes for 96 yards and a touchdown for the Orange.
