UC's Ryan Montgomery and Aaron Turner pulled off an impressive open-field lateral play at practice on Thursday.
Turner was carrying the ball when he pitched it to the right for Montgomery while avoiding a tackle. Then, Montgomery pitched it behind to Turner while falling out of bounds to spark a touchdown for the UConn Transfer.
It was a nifty play from the running back and wide receiver.
