WR Cornelius Johnson – Michigan

Johnson has shown flashes during his time in Ann Arbor, with the Wolverines usually relying on their running game, his production has never been consistent. While that has continued this season, he saved his best for the biggest game of the season at Ohio State when he had four receptions for 160 yards and two touchdowns in the victory.

WR Sahmir Hagans – Duke

In a victory that made the Blue Devils bowl eligible, Hagans enjoyed his best collegiate game with eight receptions for 139 yards and two touchdowns. The redshirt freshman positioned himself nicely to be someone to watch in Durham during the 2023 season.

RB Jaylen Anderson – West Virginia

The redshirt freshman back had a slow start to his collegiate career, but with injuries having depleted the position, he finally had his chance to shine on Saturday at Oklahoma State. He responded by rushing for 155 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries as the Mountaineers finished their season with a victory.

WR Giovanni Sanders – Arizona State

Sanders initially walked on before earning a scholarship in 2020. However, it wasn’t until this season that he truly began to make an impression. Entering the game against Arizona with 32 receptions, he added a career-high eight more, for 120 yards and one touchdown during the hard-fought loss.

LB Deontae Lawson – Alabama

Part of a loaded defensive unit, Lawson had to redshirt last season before gradually earning more playing time this fall. His progression continued Saturday against Auburn when he finished with a team leading nine tackles during the victory over the Tigers. Look for him to be a big part of the Tide defense in 2023.

DB Seyi Oladipo – Boise State

Oladipo has gradually established himself as an important part of the Boise State defense this season. However, he had yet to have a game like he did against Utah State over the weekend when he finished with 10 tackles, one tackle for a loss and an interception, which he returned 48 yards for a touchdown. With a conference championship and bowl game still remaining this fall, will this performance spur him towards a big finish?
