Amidst all the Mumbai Indians (MI) captaincy drama involving Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma , a shocking report claimed bankruptcy led the all-rounder to seek the Ambani family’s help. Pandya is leading MI in this Indian Premier League (IPL) season.

Vaibhav Pandya is Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya’s stepbrother, who allegedly duped them for INR 4.3 crore. The Economic Wing of Mumbai police also arrested the entrepreneur.
The Pandya brothers started a polymer business in 2021 with Vaibhav, who was given a 20 percent stake in the company. Krunal and Hardik had a 40 percent stake each. They shared the profits between them according to the same percentage as well.
As Vaibhav allegedly started a separate company, he raised his profit to 33 percent, and transferred the profit amount to his separate company, violating the agreement. It ended up causing financial harm to the Pandya brothers.
The Pandya brothers have not spoken anything about the cheating case yet. They are participating in the ongoing IPL. Pandya will next play on April 22 against Rajasthan Royals, while Krunal, who represents the Lucknow Super Giants will meet Chennai Super Kings on April 23.
