Amidst all the Mumbai Indians (MI) captaincy drama involving Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma , a shocking report claimed bankruptcy led the all-rounder to seek the Ambani family’s help. Pandya is leading MI in this Indian Premier League (IPL) season.

Pandya’s joining the side and becoming MI captain raised many eyebrows. All that ensued astonished the fans, with Sharma’s wife, Ritika Sajdeh’s one-line added fuel to the rumor about instability in the MI camp.

A recent report from One Cricket claimed Pandya had to join MI because he had no choice. His stepbrother Vaibhav Pandya reportedly cheated him and his brother Krunal Pandya of INR 4.3 crore.

Losing that money left Pandya with no option but to seek the Ambani family’s help. How true the report is cannot be confirmed, but if MI owners remain tight-lipped about it, more rumors will start floating around.

His extravagant lifestyle, characterized by lavish expenditures on watches, cars, and multiple residences, came crashing down when his stepbrother absconded with a staggering amount, estimated to be much more than ten folds of the revealed amount. A source confirmed One Cricket

Who is Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya’s stepbrother Vaibhav Pandya?

Vaibhav Pandya is Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya’s stepbrother, who allegedly duped them for INR 4.3 crore. The Economic Wing of Mumbai police also arrested the entrepreneur.

The Pandya brothers started a polymer business in 2021 with Vaibhav, who was given a 20 percent stake in the company. Krunal and Hardik had a 40 percent stake each. They shared the profits between them according to the same percentage as well.

As Vaibhav allegedly started a separate company, he raised his profit to 33 percent, and transferred the profit amount to his separate company, violating the agreement. It ended up causing financial harm to the Pandya brothers.

The Pandya brothers have not spoken anything about the cheating case yet. They are participating in the ongoing IPL. Pandya will next play on April 22 against Rajasthan Royals, while Krunal, who represents the Lucknow Super Giants will meet Chennai Super Kings on April 23.
