At 71 years old, Paul Lim is still making headlines — and lifting trophies. The darts icon captured his third consecutive title in Mongolia this week, once again proving that age is no barrier to success on the WDF circuit. While The Singapore Slinger had won the Ulaanbaatar Open in each of the past two years, this time he took home the Mongolian Open crown.

Lim, a Lakeside finalist earlier this year, was in commanding form in the final, defeating Ganzorig Lkhagvasuren 5–1 with an 86.31 average. He nearly delivered a moment of perfection earlier in the tournament, hitting eight perfect darts against Gantulga Samdan before narrowly missing double 12 for a nine-darter.

In the women’s competition, two-time world champion Mikuru Suzuki continued her impressive run of form. The Miracle claimed a 4–1 victory over Mayu Shimizu in the final, having already won the Ulaanbaatar Open earlier in the week. With both titles secured, Suzuki is now virtually assured of a place at the next Lakeside Women's World Championship.
