Ed Sheeran transforms into a vampire to tease new single

Ed Sheeran has been a frequent flyer on Courteney Cox's Instagram lately, recreating "The Routine" from Friends and participating in a "Tiny Dancer" parody, but the 30-year-old singer-songwriter took to his own Instagram on Friday (June 11) to announce "Bad Habits," a brand new single, is coming June 25:

Sheeran more vaguely teased new music earlier this week:

We last heard from Sheeran in July 2019. His Grammy-nominated No.6 Collaborations Project birthed certified bops such as "I Don't Care" featuring Justin Bieber, "Beautiful People" featuring Khalid, and "South of the Border" featuring Camila Cabello and Cardi B.

Sheeran's last solo music came all the way back in 2017 with his third solo studio album Divide. He claimed Grammys for best pop vocal album and best pop solo performance ("Shape of You"). The project produced three singles in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100: "Perfect" and "Shape of You" each at No. 1, Sheeran's first time topping the chart, and "Castle on the Hill" peaking at No. 6.
