Miley Cyrus wants to collaborate with Billie Eilish: 'I love her'

Miley Cyrus has joined the long line of people who want a piece of Billie Eilish.

"There are always new emerging artists that are super interesting," Cyrus said during a June 4 interview with British Vogue, when asked who she'd like to work with next. "I love Billie Eilish. I think she's just the coolest. I love her, her messaging. I'd love to work with her."

Plastic Hearts, Cyrus's seventh studio album from last November, featured the likes of Dua Lipa, Joan Jett, Billy Idol and Stevie Nicks. The 28-year-old entertainer more recently was featured on the remix of "Without You" by The Kid LAROI in late April.

Eilish, meanwhile, is gearing up to drop her sophomore studio album Happier Than Ever on July 30. The 19-year-old superstar has taken over the music industry since her 2015 debut single "Ocean Eyes"—claiming seven Grammy Awards, including back-to-back record of the year victories.

Eilish's most recent single, "Lost Cause," arrived last Wednesday (June 2):

As for when Cyrus and Eilish may cross paths, fans might have to at least wait for Cyrus to finish an abstract collaboration.

"We've been working on a Metallica cover album, and I’m here working on that," Cyrus told Interview Magazine last October. "We're so lucky to be able to continue to work on our art during all of this. At first, it felt uninspiring and now I’ve been totally ignited."
