Keanu Reeves bringing his 'BRZRKR' comic to life at Netflix

Keanu Reeves is about to get even busier.

The John Wall leading man is set to develop a live-action film and follow-up anime series for Netflix:

The productions are based upon Reeves' 12-issue comic book series BRZRKR, which was produced by BOOM! Studios. The first issue—which sold "over 615,000 copies, making it the highest-selling launch in almost 30 years, according to BOOM!—released this month:

BRZRKR was written by Reeves and Matt Kindt with illustration by the illustrious Marvel artist Ron Garney (Captain America, Wolverine). The series follows a main character named B who is half-god and half-human: "After wandering the earth for centuries, B may have finally found a refuge – working for the U.S. government to fight the battles too violent and too dangerous for anyone else. In exchange, B will be granted the one thing he desires – the truth about his endless blood-soaked existence… and how to end it."

Reeves recently crossed over into animation with a role in The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, though his character Sage was not a cartoon:

Meanwhile, the fourth and fifth John Wick installments are in pre-production.
