Olivia Rodrigo reveals 'strange' gift President Joe Biden gave her during her White House visit

Olivia Rodrigo visited the White House in June to encourage young people to get vaccinated against COVID-19, and while the 18-year-old breakout star was there, President Joe Biden had a gift for her.

"He gave me a few gifts," Rodrigo said on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" this week. "He gave me [Ray-Ban sunglasses, he gave me some M&M's, and he also gave me a shoehorn, which was strange."

"Did he really give you a shoehorn?" Kimmel interjected.

"Really," Rodrigo said. "He had, like, the presidential emblem on it. I'm serious. It's at my house."

Kimmel couldn't contain his laughter and joked, "Well, if you ever thought Joe Biden was too old to be president, now we know he is. He's giving out shoehorns!"

The chart-topping singer-songwriter also discussed her musical process, reassured that she's mostly a happy person despite her fame being attached to heartbreak anthems such as No. 1 singles "Drivers License" and "Good 4 U," and where it all started for her. Watch the full interview below.
