20 celebrities who were once Abercrombie & Fitch models

Fun fact: Jennifer Lawrence is the only teenage Abercrombie & Fitch model who went on to win an Oscar. The takeaway here is that we should never look down upon Abercrombie & Fitch models. They might win an Oscar one day. 

We can’t confirm whether Taylor Swift is the only former Abercrombie & Fitch model who went on to become a billionaire, but we’re willing to bet she’s one of few, if not the only one. Just another reason not to look down on A&F models. 

The best part about Penn Badgley being a former Abercrombie & Fitch model is that Dan Humphrey wouldn’t have been caught dead doing such a thing. He would’ve supported Serena had she been asked (how was the actual Blake Lively never asked?), but it would’ve been a no from Dan. 

Another Gossip Girl alum who was an Abercrombie & Fitch model! It’s not a surprise that more than one person from that show modeled professionally. It’s an unbelievably good-looking group of people. 

Olivia Wilde wasn’t on Gossip Girl, but she was on The O.C., which was also created by Josh Schwartz. That man has had more of an impact on pop culture than most people realize, and it seems to have started with casting former A&F models. 

If you can’t quite place Chris Carmack, he’s the actor from The O.C. who uttered the iconic line, “Welcome to the O.C., b-tch.” We’re starting to suspect that Josh Schwartz had some backdoor deal with Abercrombie to poach its former models for his TV shows. 

Channing Tatum is one of the most handsome men alive. It would’ve been shocking if he hadn’t modeled for Abercrombie & Fitch. Honestly, he could still model for the clothing store. 

Of course Heidi Klum was qualified to model for A&F, but it’s a little surprising the company could afford her. A&F is successful, but Klum is expensive. 

Abercrombie really knows how to pick models. Karlie Kloss is another former model from the company who went on to pose for Victoria’s Secret and walk runway after runway at Fashion Week. 

Lindsay Lohan has been doing iconic work since she was a child. She acted on Sesame Street, starred as two characters in The Parent Trap, and was a model for Abercrombie Kids. And she’s still an icon today.

Lana Del Rey was an Abercombie Kids model, too. The star musician was in an ad campaign for the brand alongside Lindsay Lohan. Just look at them now!

The A&F ad campaign starring Jamie Dornan was, well, exactly what a consumer might have expected from the A&F of the early 2000s. Based on his modeling work alone, it’s not much of a surprise Dornan went on to star in Fifty Shades of Grey. 

Jamie Dornan modeled in his A&F campaign alongside Malin Akerman. The model-turned-actress has talked about the photo shoot before, noting that the two were quite familiar with each other when it was all said and done. 

Betty Draper might not have been the marketing expert in her marriage, but January Jones knows a thing or two about ad campaigns. The Mad Men actress was an Abercrombie & Fitch model in the mid-2000s. 

Emma Roberts and January Jones are well over 10 years apart in age, but they posed for Abercrombie & Fitch in the same year. Roberts’ work for the brand came while she was starring in the Nickelodeon series Unfabulous. 

Something about Nikki Reed being a former A&F model just makes sense. Had Twilight come out about five years earlier, the entire cast probably would’ve posed for the clothing brand. 

See what we mean about the Twilight cast? Kellan Lutz, who just so happened to play Nikki Reed’s love interest in Twilight, was also an A&F model. They were clearly meant to be vampire lovers. 

Ashton Kutcher had the quintessential Abercrombie vibe when he modeled for the company. Had acting not worked out for him, Kutcher could’ve stuck to modeling and done very well for himself. 

Scott Eastwood also could’ve had a career in modeling if he’d wanted to. But when your father is Clint Eastwood, you probably see posing for Abercrombie as more of a stepping stone than a legitimate career path. C’est la vie. 

Sienna Miller also posed for Abercrombie back in the day. The actress went on to star in films like G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and American Sniper , and she had a serious relationship with Jude Law, so her modeling days were by no means the peak of her career.
