Taylor Swift teases rerecorded 'Red' album: 'I promise it's worth the wait'

Taylor Swift released Red, her fourth solo studio album, in October 2012.

The appetite for those songs is just as strong—if not stronger—in October 2021.

Swift teased Red (Taylor's Version) on Friday with a video posted to her Instagram:

The video features a smiling Swift dressed in all-red with text proclaiming "IT'S RED SEASON." The 31-year-old megawatt singer-songwriter boasts an intricate ring that says "RED" as well as a closet full of red shoes and an abundance of red flowers.

Swift unveiled Red would be the second rerecorded album of her catalog in June:

The 11-time Grammy winner first dropped Fearless (Taylor's Version) this April to her usual world-dominating success. Both re-released albums are an effort to reclaim her early-career masters after their controversial sale last year.

On Sept. 30, Red (Taylor's Version)'s release was bumped from Nov. 19 up to Nov. 12.
