Taylor Swift breaks Beatles record with her third #1 album in less than a year

Taylor Swift has notched eight No. 1 albums in her career, so the 11-time Grammy winner is used to mind-blowing accomplishment.

However, Swift found a new way to celebrate the success of her rerecorded Fearless (Taylor's Version). The 31-year-old jokingly addressed internet rumors about her cat, Meredith Grey:

"WELL WELL WELL you all really went out and left my greatest expectations in shambles this week," Swift captioned the video. "Word on the street is you made Fearless (my version) the biggest country album first week of the last 6 years and the top release of 2021 so far. Honestly??? How?? Did I get this lucky???? I wanted to say thank you to you so today I will be addressing a very pressing issue."

Fearless (Taylor's Version), a 27-track project that also includes six new "From the Vault" tracks, debuted atop the U.K.'s official albums chart Friday.

The 31-year-old "sets a new all-time record for the fastest accumulation of three No. 1 albums ever," according to Official Charts. "The record was previously held by the Beatles for 54 years."

Swift acknowledged that specific news by quoting her Lover track "London Boy":

The three albums in question are Fearless (Taylor's Version), Evermore and Folklore—the last of which claimed album of the year at March's Grammys.

More importantly, Swift is a proud cat mom to Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson and Benjamin Button.
