Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton have shared multiple battles on track for race wins and World Championships throughout the years, especially during 2017 and 2018 when the German was at Ferrari. But, outside the track, the duo share a very friendly relationship and seem to have a lot of mutual respect between them.

They are easily one of the best drivers to ever step foot into F1. All of this culminated when, recently during a quickfire game with Talk Sport, Sebastian Vettel was asked to describe his arch-rival Lewis Hamilton.

The four-time World Champion said the word “Goat” which was pretty surprising.

The German later also revealed that he used that word to describe Hamilton because the Briton statistically is the best F1 driver in the history of the pinnacle of motor racing. Fans and pundits alike have reacted by speaking about how game recognizes game!

Sebastian Vettel describes Fernando Alonso as his most fierce competitor

Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso shared one of the most heated rivalries during the early 2010s. The pair were in multiple battles for World championships in 2010 and 2012.

Even during the tail-end of the German’s career, he raced the Spaniard hard throughout his last season in F1, especially during their battle in Japan.

I had close championships and close calls with him and throughout my career generally he’s the sort of driver who is always there. Very competitive – yeah I think he was the hardest competitor I faced.

The German added how the 42-year-old has always been prolific and how he always had to fight with him. The rivalry between the two was truly fascinating and something that fans would want to see again. Sebastian Vettel has been linked with the Mercedes seat for the 2025 season.
