Louisville, Kentucky – The University of Louisville softball team is gearing up for another exciting match as they continue their fall season. On Tuesday, they will be going head-to-head with the University of Southern Indiana at 5 p.m. at Ulmer Stadium. The best part? The event is free and open to the public.

In their previous game, the Cardinals managed to secure a tight victory over Indiana with a score of 5-4 in seven intense innings of play. Originally scheduled as a doubleheader, the second game unfortunately had to be canceled due to rain. During their matchup against the Hoosiers, four players showcased their skills with two hits each, and Bailee Richardson stood out as she drove in two runs. The Cardinals also utilized four different pitchers throughout the game, showcasing their depth and versatility.

Looking ahead, the Cardinals’ last game of the fall season will take place on Sunday against Miami (Ohio). This exciting doubleheader will kick off at 1 p.m. at Ulmer Stadium. The team is eager to end the season on a high note and continue their progress.

Louisville Softball had an impressive season in 2023, finishing with a record of 36-20 overall and a 16-7 ACC mark. Their 16 ACC wins were tied for the most since joining the league in 2015. The Cardinals have consistently shown their prowess in the conference, and fans are eager to see how they will fare in the upcoming season.
