In Louisville, Kentucky, diving coach Ryan Rougeux and diver Lindsay Gizzi held a press conference today to discuss the upcoming championship season for the University of Louisville diving team. The event took place at the Planet Fitness Kueber Center on campus.

One of the major highlights of the season will be a much-anticipated in-state rivalry meet against the University of Kentucky. This exciting showdown is set to take place on January 27th at noon at the Ralph Wright Natatorium.

In addition to the rivalry meet, senior diver Else Praasterink is preparing for her participation in the World Championships in Doha, Qatar. Praasterink will be representing the Netherlands in this prestigious event, with hopes of securing her spot in the Paris Olympics later this year.

The University of Louisville diving team is aiming for excellence this season, and they have a number of talented athletes to help them achieve their goals. Rayce Winn, a standout diver, is currently ranked among the top divers in the nation in both the 1M and 3M events. Else Praasterink, along with Lindsay Gizzi, is also nationally ranked in both the 1M and 3M events, with Praasterink sitting at the impressive seventh spot in the nation for the Platform event.
