Leeds United fan Luke Humphries has sealed the dream double win he has craved a mere week after the city went into hysteria at achieving a different kind of Premier League promotion. It was the Premier League Darts tonight and it was a 6-5 win over his great rival Luke Littler.

Tonight also sees him seal a spot at the play-offs at The O2 as he sealed a win that will mean a lot to him with his name coming from the moniker Leeds United Kings of Europe and his walk-on being Kaiser Chiefs who hail from the city.

Their song I Predict a Riot being an anthem for their supporters and he gave them darting joy tonight as he saw off Michael van Gerwen quickly followed by Luke Littler in Leeds.

Littler missed two darts at 84 for the opening leg but Humphries couldn't get a shot at 135 and 'The Nuke' returned for 1-0.

Littler took out 96 on double 19, double 19 to double his lead. But Humphries put the hard yards in to get back into the tie. Littler landed 180 to leave 21 but Humphries landed 96 for parity.

He then cleaned up a break of throw on double one to make it 3-2. Albeit Littler with the bit between his teeth slammed in an 11-darter for 3-3 and parity with the break stolen back. Humphries was the first to a finish and missed double 20 for 132.

He gave Littler a chance for 101 but Littler had a poor visit hitting seven in his first two darts. Humphries pinned double 10 to break again for 4-3. Humphries finally got a chance to hold and took it hitting 80 to go 5-3 up.

Littler hit 54 to go 5-4 down as Humphries had the throw for the win. Humphries missed the bull for 121. Littler had two darts at 87 for 5-5 and he took it to break and send it all the way. Humphries couldn't get the treble 19 for 149 and Littler had a dart at 124 for the win but couldn't take it.

Humphries took aim at 52 for the win and claimed it on double 10 to bring the city double success in the week.
