Jake Garcia edges Corey Heim for Truck Series pole at Kansas

Garcia won the first pole of his career at Rockingham Speedway in April. 

Heim, Ty Majeski, Carson Hocevar and two-time Truck Series champion Ben Rhodes rounded out the top five, with Rajah Caruth, Kaden Honeycutt, Dawson Sutton, Tanner Gray and Gio Ruggiero completing the top 10. 

Other notable qualifying efforts include William Byron in 11th, Grant Enfinger in 15th, Daniel Hemric in 22nd, three-time Truck Series champion Matt Crafton in 25th and Toni Breidinger in 26th. 

Cody Dennison may have had the most eventful qualifying session of any driver in the field, as the No. 2 Ford F-150 got loose in the middle of turns 3 and 4, prompting a slide from Dennison as he made his way through the corner. Meanwhile, Dennison's teammate in Morgen Baird will start his Truck Series debut as the last truck on the grid in 31st. 

The Heart of America 200 will go green shortly after 7:30 p.m. ET, with coverage on FS1, NRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. Pre-race coverage will begin at 7 p.m. ET on NRN. Heim is the defending winner of both Kansas races and also won the last Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway on May 2.
