A 2-15 season isn't stopping the Carolina Panthers coaching staff from drawing interest around the NFL.

Panthers offensive coordinator Thomas Brown could be interviewing with the Tennessee Titans for a head coaching job.

The Titans requested an interview with Brown to discuss the head coaching position, ESPN's Kimberley A. Martin reported Monday night.

Brown recently wrapped up his first season as the offensive coordinator for the Panthers.

In all, it was a mixed-bag season. Brown was heralded as an offensive mind from the Sean McVay coaching tree who could blend his skill set with then-head coach Frank Reich to create a supercharged offense.

That didn't happen. The Panthers offense flopped. Brown was given the play-calling duties only to have them yanked away by Reich before the head coach was ultimately fired.

With David Tepper seeking an offensive-minded head coach, Brown is most likely seeking another gig where he can have some jurisdiction over the offense.

Tennesse is seeking to replace the large shoes of Mike Vrabel, whose firing came as a surprise.

Brown isn't the only Panthers coach to receive some interest from around the league. Defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero has garnered interview requests from the NFC South division rival Atlanta Falcons and NFC West foe Seattle Seahawks.
