The center position will be addressed by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2024 NFL Draft. Whether it is in the first round or not, the Steelers will draft an offensive lineman that can play the position. Prospects like Jackson Powers-Johnson and Zach Frazier played exclusively at center while Graham Barton played tackle and center during his collegiate career.

SN analyst Derrick Bell breaks down the scouting report for Barton: where he excels and the things that he’ll need to work on as he transitions to the next level. Barton, who will likely play center at the next level, started 34 games at left tackle over the past three seasons for the Blue Devils. The last time that Barton played center was during his freshman season where he played in six games and started five at center for Duke. The reason a team can look over that fact is due to his overall experience, his athleticism, and run blocking ability. If the Steelers decide to go offensive line early and Barton is still available, do not be surprised if he is the pick.
