The Atlanta Falcons fell short of their ultimate goal this season and will be on the outside looking in for Super Bowl LVIII. With six-straight losing seasons, Atlanta failed to make the postseason again.

It's a bittersweet Sunday for many NFL fans whose own team fell short and don't have alliances to the Kansas City Chiefs or San Francisco 49ers.

Good thing there are non-football storylines galore in this year's Super Bowl. Highly-anticipated commercials, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift sightings and of course, Usher's halftime show.

The King of R&B (with ties to Atlanta) has been rocking a sold-out Las Vegas residency (Usher: My Way, The Vegas Residency) that has been extended twice due to its popularity. The Super Bowl halftime performance will mark his 101st in Las Vegas.

Usher confirmed that he will include special guests for his super halftime performance in an interview with Billboard. But who? That is the question. There is a rumor that Justin Bieber could be a surprise guest after Bieber teased photos on social media.

Bieber and Usher collaborated on the song "Somebody to Love," from Bieber's first studio album My World 2.0. Usher has been credited for developing Bieber into the pop star that he is today.

Last June, Bieber was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused temporary paralysis in half of his face, causing him to cancel the remainder of his Justice World Tour.

Bieber played his first-live set in over a year at NHL All-Star Weekend in early February when he played at Drake's History Club.

Shortly after, Bieber shared photos and videos on Instagram of himself singing into a microphone and teasing a surprise performance with a shushing emoji.

The Super Bowl is Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
