Aidan Chiles wanted to see Zeke the Wonderdog on his official visit but it couldn’t happen. Now Zeke has a message for the new QB1.

One of the most anticipated announcements in recent Michigan State football history happened on Thursday afternoon when transfer quarterback Aidan Chiles officially announced his commitment to the Spartans. The Oregon State transfer will come over with new coach Jonathan Smith and look to provide a spark at the quarterback position that Michigan State has been lacking for years.

When Aidan officially announced his plans to visit MSU’s campus last weekend, he was pretty vocal about wanting to meet everyone’s favorite four-legged Spartan, Zeke the Wonderdog.

MSU Twitter immediately went to work to try to make that happen at Aidan’s official visit. However, apparently due to some NCAA regulations, it could not happen. I, for one, was deflated. I’m a sucker for content with dogs so knowing that I wouldn’t be getting to see the Zeke and Aidan official visit picture broke my heart.

Now, after Aidan is committed to the Spartans, the long-awaited meeting could take place after all. In a tweet that just will make all Spartan fans go “awww”, the goodest boy on MSU Twitter sent out a message to the new quarterback commit on Thursday afternoon.

Aidan also added this photo to his commitment post so I think it’s safe to say, he’s excited about the potential meet-up as well.

What a nice welcome from Zeke. I don’t know about you all but any content with Zeke is already at the top of my list. Now seeing these two become best friends potentially. That’s perfect. I can’t wait for the first game in August. We need Aidan Chiles launching 60-yard Frisbee tosses to Zeke at some point during the game against Florida Atlantic. That alone is worth the price of admission.

Other MSU fans seem to agree:

Either way, enjoy today Spartan fans. This is a big one. Welcome home, Aidan. Can’t wait to see you in the green and white.

Go Green, everyone.
