Jon Rahm is the obvious favorite to win the Farmers Insurance Open

The PGA Tour continues its California swing this upcoming weekend with the heavily anticipated Farmers Insurance Open at the renowned Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego. And even with a competitive field ready to battle in Southern California, the early favorite to win it all is a no-brainer.

Jon Rahm leads the Farmers Insurance Open field at DraftKings listed at +450 odds to win the entire tournament and -175 odds to place in the Top 10. Xander Schauffele is the next golfer listed at +1000 and Tony Finau comes in next at +1200.

While the odds will shift over the week and some surprises may get boosted up the list, it's no surprise Rahm is so heavily favored to start off the week. The Spaniard has won four out of his last six starts between both the PGA Tour and DP World Tour, notching back-to-back wins against the at the Sentry Tournament of Champions and The American Express.

Rahm moved up to No. 3 in the Official World Golf Ranking after last weekend's win at The American Express, inching closer to Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy. Neither the world No. 1 or No. 2 will compete at Torrey Pines this upcoming weekend, although a win this Sunday wouldn't move Rahm up enough to bump McIlroy or Scheffler from those top two spots.

The Farmers Insurance Open tees off this Thursday.
