Sung Kang drains first hole-in-one of PGA Tour restart
The opening round of the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas provided fans with all kinds of entertainment.
Justin Thomas waved to non-existent crowds after shots during the first day of the PGA Tour's resumed season amid the coronavirus pandemic. Spectators won't be allowed on courses until July at the earliest.
A man later identified as Brooks Koepka accidentally dropped an f-bomb a little too close to a hot microphone. Commentator Jim Nantz apologized for the profanity.
The golf, itself, was stellar. At the No. 13 par 3, Sung Kang dropped the first ace of the Tour's restarted campaign:
One person watching couldn't contain his excitement and yelled as the ball dropped into the hole.
Kang, meanwhile, barely reacted as he walked to retrieve his property.
Per the Associated Press (Fox Sports), Kang won his first Tour title in May 2019.
