Jim Nantz apologizes for profanity after Jon Rahm chip

Everybody involved with the PGA Tour is still getting used to the new normal of conducting tournaments and broadcasts with no fans on courses amid the coronavirus pandemic. 

There was bound to be a miscue on the first day. 

During the opening round of the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, Justin Thomas decided to wave to non-fans after a few nice shots. 

Later in the afternoon, Jon Rahm delivered a chip on the eighth that rolled into the hole. This led to somebody yelling out a NSFW word that the microphones picked up as clear as day:
