Team USA a huge favorite in Presidents Cup

The Presidents Cup has officially returned after a three-year break, and the U.S. team is a big favorite to win the highly-anticipated event.

Davis Love III's men are currently listed as staggering -700 favorites at DraftKings to win the four-day event against Trevor Immelman's International squad.

The big disparity in this year's teams is the number of top world-ranked golfers on each team. The USA squad boasts nine top-15 players including world No.1 and PGA Player of the Year Scottie Scheffler. Team Internationals' highest-ranked team member is Hideki Matsuyama, who clocks in at 16th in the world. The large gap is partly due to the number of international players from previous Presidents Cup events that don't qualify to play anymore because they joined LIV Golf.

However, Team Internationals certainly isn't lacking in experience. Adam Scott is the most seasoned golfer in the whole field with 10 Presidents Cup appearances under his belt, with Matsuyama playing in his fourth.

The U.S. side boasts some fresh faces at this year's event, including rookies Cameron Young and Sam Burns, making Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas the seasoned veterans.

Festivities for the Presidents Cup at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina kick off on Tuesday.
