Rickie Fowler, a prominent figure in the golfing industry is currently trending in internet searches. The American golfer was a part of The Sentry tournament in Hawaii this weekend. Though he did not achieve much in the first event of the year, the fans observed a huge difference in him.

The big difference in him was his clothing. Like many golfers, Fowler recently split with two of his prominent sponsors, the Farmers Insurance and Rocket Mortgage. This led to several speculations regarding his future and perhaps a switch to LIV Golf. Fowler has now turned down these rumors and claimed he has “zero plans” to do anything like that.

Speaking in an interview with Golfweek, the six-time PGA Tour applauded the efforts of Patrick Cantlay, Jordan Spieth, and Tiger Woods for working hard at the PGA Tour Policy Board and placed his trust in them.

You don’t have to worry about that... With Jordan, Cantlay, Tiger and the other guys, I’ve just trusted that we’re all going to end up in a good spot and I have zero plans to go anywhere. Rickie Fowler dismissing the rumors of going to LIV Golf as per Golfweek.

This also comes at a time when several golfers have been reported to be ending their partnership with their sponsors. While the status of Nike and Woods remains to be seen, former World No.1 Jason Day recently split with them and joined Malbon Golf, thus becoming one of the big names to end their sponsorship with a company this year.

Rickie Fowler provides an update on his sponsorship deals

Sponsorships play a huge role in the realm of sports. Several prominent industry names choose a player whom they want to represent their products. Rickie Fowler was previously sponsored by two big entities, Farmers Insurance and Rocket Mortgage. The golfer has now provided an update on his sponsorship deals.

As per Fowler, his partnership with Farmers Insurance had come to an end due to a leadership change. With a change in CEO position, the company decided against renewing its contract with Fowler.

My contract was up and I was told they weren’t looking to renew or extend. Rickie Fowler on his contract ending with Farmers Insurance.

However, the 35-year-old claimed that the logo of Rocket Mortgage might soon be coming back on his clothes.

We have something in the works to move forward but it hasn’t been finalized yet. I think there is a good chance we will have the logo and move forward with the partnership there. Rickie Fowler on the return of Rocket Mortgage as his sponsor.

The return of Rocket Mortgage could be a big boost for Fowler. He has a good history with them and his previous win came at the event sponsored by them, the Rocket Mortgage Classic in 2023.

Speaking of his performance at The Sentry, the American star did not enjoy too much success. In a field of 59 players, he finished in 56th spot, raising questions regarding his poor run of form.
