The Los Angeles Angels took down the San Diego Padres in Peoria on Friday afternoon 5-3 behind home runs from Willie Calhoun, Logan O'Hoppe, and Miguel Sanó.

Calhoun led the Angels with a three-hit day, finishing 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. 

O'Hoppe was 1-for-3 with a solo home run and Sanó was 1-for-2 with a solo bomb, a walk, and two runs scored. The two went back-to-back in the sixth inning to tie the game and take the lead.

Reid Detmers was roughed up in his start for L.A., going only 1.2 innings and walking four, striking out two and surrendering two earned runs on two hits.

Kenny Rosenberg was credited with the win. He pitched two scoreless innings and struck out one. Carson Fulmer earned the save.
