Country music sensation Morgan Wallen is apparently a big part of the Arizona Diamondbacks playoff run - at least for general manager Mike Hazen.

The superstitious leader of the Snakes said that to the "Baseball Isn't Boring" podcast:

"I listen to the same music, same album, everything before every game and it's the Morgan Wallen that recently came out just over and over again."

If you're going to have a superstitious routine, you may as well make Wallen a part of it. The 30-year-old star has taken the music world by storm over the last two years or so with his chart-topping hits like "Last Night" and "Whiskey Glasses."

Wallen is also a big baseball fan, having earned a chance to play in college himself before an elbow injury ended his career.

Hazen and the Diamondbacks are just three wins away from their second-ever World Series title. The D'Backs won the World Series in 2001 and are tied with the Texas Rangers at one game apiece as the series shifts back to Arizona for Game 3.

Game 3 will be played on Monday night at 8:03 p.m. ET as rookie Brandon Pfaadt (ARI) pitches against veteran Max Scherzer (TEX).

Pfaadt has been a revelation these playoffs, going 0-0 with an impressive 2.70 ERA. He helped the Diamondbacks win Game 7 of the NLCS on the road in hostile Philadelphia.

As for Scherzer, he's missed most of the playoffs with injury but did come back in the ALCS. Thus far, he's 0-1 with a 9.45 ERA.
