Dodgers outfielder Jake Marisnick was forced to exit Tuesday's game in the fourth inning with an injury. Marisnick had come in to pinch-hit for Jason Heyward in the third inning, but ended up hurting himself, and leaving just an inning later.

The Dodgers provided an update on Marisnick, clarifying that he left the game with left hamstring tightness.

We should continue to learn more from Dave Roberts and Marisnick sooner or later, but for now, this would be another potential blow to the Dodgers, and to Marisnick.

The Dodgers added Marisnick during the All-Star break, and he's already provided a boost, getting two hits in five at-bats. He's in Los Angeles to hit left-handed pitching, and the Dodgers were hoping the combination of Marisnick and Chris Taylor could be enough to give them a boost when a lefty is on the opposing mound.

We'll have to continue to wait for an update on Marisnick, but for now, we'll hope that it's not too serious. The Orioles have a right-handed pitcher scheduled to pitch on Wednesday, so he wouldn't have started the game, anyway.
