Fans roast Red Sox CBO Chaim Bloom after $100 per win pledge to The Jimmy Fund

The Boston Red Sox are 60-62 entering play Tuesday and will need a huge finish over the last 40 games of the regular season to have a chance at a playoff berth. The underwhelming campaign, combined with the uncertain future for franchise cornerstones Rafael Devers and Xander Bogaerts as the offseason nears have caused Red Sox Nation to frequently air their frustrations with ownership all year.

Near the top of the food chain and receiving the bulk of the criticism has been chief baseball officer Chaim Bloom, who is in his third season in the position. The 39-year-old appeared on WEEI's "Gresh and Keefe" on Tuesday and made a pledge as a part of the annual WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon, which takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday.

This is the 20th annual Radio-Telethon.

While any help is surely appreciated, plenty of fans soon took to Twitter to not only call out Bloom for the perceived low monetary value, but also made jokes at the team's expense.
