Joe Maddon heated after Shaun Anderson throws near Mike Trout's head three times

You don't want to mess with anyone on Joe Maddon's squad, especially superstar Mike Trout.

Maddon was livid after San Francisco Giants pitcher Shaun Anderson threw near the Los Angeles Angels outfielder's head for the third time in three days on Thursday.

"Enough is enough," Maddon said postgame. "This is the major leagues. There's a level of accountability here also. I don't want to use the word irresponsible loosely, but in that situation, you pretty much knew it was going to happen again. I'm not accusing the guy of doing anything on purpose. I'm just saying he doesn't command his fastball enough in order to know where it's going."

Maddon questioned Anderson's presence in the major's on Tuesday after two of his pitches were thrown near Trout's head.

The pitches that were thrown near Trout's head were fastballs, which Anderson has thrown in the strike zone less than 50 percent of the time this season.

Trout has garnered plenty of respect from players across Major League Baseball, so it's hard to imagine that Anderson would intentionally throw near his head.
