The Los Angeles Angels have, in fact, decided to make a roster move that goes against the moves they've been making the past few weeks.

The team placed INF Mike Moustakas and OF Mickey Moniak on the injured list, and recalled OF Jordyn Adams and INF Kyren Paris from Triple-A, two guys who were sent down on Thursday.

This move goes against their recent moves as the Angels have tried to save money just about everywhere they could. On Thursday, the team sent Adams and Paris down and recalled David Fletcher and Jared Walsh, a move that was completely financially motivated to save the Angels a little over $100 thousand.

Moniak, who hasn't played since September 5, was wasting a spot on the Angels active roster, but was saving the Angels money by not having to pay someone else.

However, the Angels finally decided to just bite the bullet, as Moniak told reporters on Friday that he was hopeful to return this season, but hadn't yet started baseball activities.

So, the struggling Adam and Paris, who were sent down about 24 hours ago, are now back with the big league club and will get opportunities to continue to improve their games as they audition for the 2024 season.
