MLB home run props for 4/29: Braves sluggers to feast on M's pitching

It's a new week for us in home run props, and we're looking to kick off the week with a bang. Let's break down our three favorite HR bets for Monday's MLB slate.

Alec Bohm (+500 DraftKings)

Phillies at Angels, 9:38 p.m. ET

Alec Bohm is absolutely mashing the baseball right now. The Philadelphia Phillies third baseman is batting .510 with a .898 slugging percentage and a 1.445 OPS over the last 15 days; all three are the best marks in MLB over that span. Los Angeles Angels starter Griffin Canning has the 13th-highest fly ball rate and the 14th-highest expected slugging percentage among qualified pitchers, so this is a great matchup for Bohm to keep his hot streak going.

Marcell Ozuna (+400 FanDuel)

Braves at Mariners, 9:40 p.m. ET

We're interested in fading Seattle Mariners starter Bryce Miller in home run props on Monday. Miller is giving up the third-highest barrel rate, the third-highest fly ball rate and the 12th-highest average exit velocity among qualified pitchers this season. Now he has to go up against the most dangerous power-hitting lineup in the league in the Atlanta Braves. Let's start with Marcell Ozuna, who's batting .328 and slugging .701 with seven home runs against right-handed pitching this year. Ozuna has the highest barrel rate on the team this season, so this is a perfect matchup for him to crush another one.

Travis d'Arnaud (+600 FD)

Braves at Mariners, 9:40 p.m. ET

We're not done with the Braves just yet. Travis d'Arnaud is the hottest hitter in Atlanta's lineup, leading the team in batting average (.379), slugging percentage (1.000) and home runs (five) over the last 15 days. Despite d'Arnaud's recent power surge, there are six Braves hitters priced lower than him on the home run odds board for Monday night. We'll gladly take the discount.
