Padres players are trickling in to Peoria Sports Complex, signaling the start of spring training for the 2023 MLB season! Our friends at The Fan posted the first sights and sounds out of camp and it's already got us quite hyped.

Notably, there are no glove pops to be heard in the video above. Or any noise for that matter.

Friar ace Joe Musgrove is starting to get his work in along with Blake Snell, Adrian Morejon and Luis Garcia. Garcia will be among the Padres participating in the upcoming World Baseball Classic, so he only has a few weeks with the club before joining Team Dominican, who are among the favorites to win the tournament.

Soon enough, we hope to see the newest Padre, right-hander Michael Wacha join the fun in Arizona. The long-time MLB veteran reportedly agreed to a contract with San Deigo on Tuesday.

The rest of the squad (position players) are due to report this weekend with the first full team workout due for early next week. The Cactus League season kicks off a week from Friday with the Pads taking on their complex mates in the Mariners.
