The Philadelphia Phillies may now have some additional incentive to win the World Series this season.

Jon Marks, a radio host on Sports Radio 94 WIP in Philadelphia, is planning to celebrate a potential Phillies World Series in a unique way. He said on the air that he will get a back tattoo of Bryce Harper’s face if the Phillies win it all this season.

Marks already got a tattoo on his back of Nick Foles’ face following the Eagles’ Super Bowl win in the 2017 NFL season. He told Harper that he would get a tattoo of the reigning NL MVP on his back, next to the Foles tat. Harper thought that would be some good company.

“If I could be anywhere next to Nick Foles, I’ll take it,” Harper said in an interview with Marks and Ike Reese from Spring Training. “I will absolutely take it. That guy is an absolute legend in Philadelphia. If I could be next to him on anything, that means we did something the right way and we did it. So I hope there is a tattoo [of me] right next to him on your back.”

The Phillies made some nice additions this offseason. They signed Kyle Schwarber and Nick Castellanos, adding pop to a team that went 82-80 last season. They’ll need a turnaround from Didi Gregorious at short and some improved pitching at the bottom of the rotation to compete.

The Phillies’ division includes the reigning World Series champs in Atlanta and a vastly improved Mets squad. Of course, the loaded Dodgers loom out west. The Phillies will have plenty of competition.
