Eddie Rosario's stats

MLB Stats: .255/.305/.755 with 24 doubles, 3 triples, 21 homers, and 74 RBI

Eddie Rosario season grades

Defense: B+

It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't amazing either. Rosario finished with 4 errors and 4 assists in 130 games played in left field. That's good for a .983 fielding percentage. That is up from last years .953 fielding percentage. The average fielding percentage for Left Fielders in the MLB is .987 so Rosario was below league average.

Offense: B+

Much like his defensive production, Rosario saw a jump in his offensive production from 2022 to 2023. His average jumped from a .212 to a .255 as he hit 21 homers and had 74 RBI on the season. He also provided one of the most memorable moments as he came up with the clutch hit in the bottom of the eighth inning against the Giants that eventually led to a Braves win.

Eddie Rosario's contract status

The Atlanta Braves declined their team option for Eddie Rosario in 2024. Rosario was set to make $9M this season but he has now become an unrestricted free agent. There is a chance he will re-sign with the Braves for less money.
