Report: Blue Jays interested in Marwin Gonzalez

The Toronto Blue Jays have been one of the most active teams in Major League Baseball this winter, and it appears they might not be done adding yet.

According to Sportsnet's Shi Davidi, the Blue Jays are showing interest in free-agent utilityman Marwin Gonzalez

The 31-year-old is coming off a rough season with the Minnesota Twins. He slashed .211/.286/.320 with five home runs and 22 RBI. Gonzalez's best season came in 2017 with the Houston Astros when he hit .303/.377/.530 with 23 home runs and 90 RBI.

The Blue Jays have added George Springer, Marcus Semien, Kirby Yates, Robbie Ray, Tyler Chatwood and Steven Matz this offseason.
