After closing out both games on Tuesday against the Cincinnati Reds, San Francisco Giants closer Camilo Doval is now the first player in baseball this year to reach 30 saves.

The Giants and Reds had to finish a suspended game before playing the originally scheduled one, and Doval locked down both as the Giants ran their win streak to seven games.

The following update comes from the Rotowire fantasy baseball portal:

Doval picked up the save Tuesday against the Reds, working around a hit and a walk in a scoreless ninth inning.

ANALYSIS
After allowing a one-out single and a walk, Doval coaxed a double-play ball from Spencer Steer to earn his league-leading 30th save. The 26-year-old righty has emerged as an elite closing option in San Francisco. He's now 30-for-32 in save chances this season with a 2.40 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 59:18 K:BB across 45 innings.

The 26-year-old flamethrower is in his third year with the Giants, registering 60 saves total over those three years. He's also accumulated a 13-10 record and posted a career 2.58 ERA.

He's struck out 176 batters in 139.2 innings.

The Giants now are 54-41 on the season and have moved into second place in the National League West. They also currently own the top spot in the National League wild card picture. They've won eight of their last 10 games.

They'll take on the Reds again on Wednesday night at 7:10 p.m. ET. Ross Stripling gets the ball for the Giants while Graham Ashcraft toes the slab for Cincy.
