Los Angeles Angels pitcher Shohei Ohtani Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

A man of many talents, Shohei Ohtani can hit, pitch, steal bases … and even do impressions pretty well too.

The Los Angeles Angels star went viral this week for his hilarious imitation of New York Mets counterpart Jacob deGrom in the dugout during Spring Training.

Ohtani mimicked deGrom’s intensity with his glove while on the mound, and the impression was actually pretty spot-on. Take a look.

Ohtani, the reigning AL MVP, and deGrom, the two-time NL Cy Young winner, are two of baseball’s finest. deGrom even did an Ohtani impression of his own last season, hitting .364 at the dish for the Mets (albeit in just 33 plate appearances).

In addition to his unparalleled talent on the diamond, Ohtani’s personality helps make him such a marketable player. This funny impression of deGrom is just the latest way Ohtani has made us laugh since arriving in America.
