The 'No. 1 overall pick in the MLB Draft' quiz

Less than a year after he was selected with the first overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft, Paul Skenes will make his MLB debut on Saturday against the division-rival Chicago Cubs. Skenes' promotion caps off a meteoric rise for the 21-year-old ace. He was absolutely dominant in his brief AAA stint, so much so that he didn't leave Pittsburgh's front office with much choice other than to promote him. The Pirates are currently under .500 on the season, but with Skenes and fellow phenom Jared Jones now atop their rotation, they have a legitimate chance to make the postseason for the first time in nearly a decade.

Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. MLB has been holding its annual draft since 1965. Over that period, many of the No. 1 overall selections have gone on to have illustrious careers, while others have been complete busts. Only time will tell how Skenes will fair in the big leagues. So, with that in mind, how many of the top overall picks can you name in six minutes?

Good luck!
